Be a Plant Scientist: Question, Experiment, Discover

We might not notice them every day, but all around us plants are growing, cooking up their own food, fighting for territory, repelling hungry animals, and reproducing. But how do we know this? Science! In this book, students will get hands-on to investigate if all the things we know about plants are true. As they carry out their investigations, students will get the chance to grow and observe their own plants. From photosynthesis to transpiration and from pollination to seed dispersal, each innovative and engaging experiment will get young students asking questions, making observations, gathering evidence, testing theories, and making and recording their conclusions.
